Appropriate treatment and recycling of waste.

Waste tires from tire changes are outsourced to designated collection and transportation companies. They then go through recyclers, recycled tire manufacturers, intermediary processors, and used tire suppliers to ensure that they are utilized.

We recycle waste batteries appropriately under the recycling scheme operated by the Lead Acid Storage Battery Recycle Association. To give an example of the recycling of "used lead-acid batteries," collected used batteries are dismantled and separated into the leads, the electrolytic cell, and the electrolytic solution. The leads are then refined into recycled lead, the electrolytic cell is crushed into recycled resin, and the electrolytic solution is either reused after treatment or disposed of as waste.

Waste oil cannot be reused as fuel because it contains water and metal powders, etc. In order to remove moisture and metal powders, etc. from waste oil, the oil is collected and transported by tank trucks from the stores to be recycled into resources at the treatment facility of the outsourced company. Once the waste oil has been recycled and treated, most of it becomes recycled heavy oil, which is used as fuel for factories and other facilities.
